  i used to be an elder for more than 20 years .

  i have successfully faded with my wife and children.

  All good points blondie. I think cult thinking is when it happens to them it's satan. If it happens to those who leave the cult it has to be god's judgement on the person. In the real world I know it does not matter who or what you are we all have things happen to us. Whether they are bad or not. Thanks for your imput. Still Totally ADD

  Rutherford's last book "Children" 1941- Advice DONT HAVE KIDS...Where it all started!

  watchtower 1941 sept. 15 p.283, 288 "in front of the convention platform the children recieving there free gift (copy) not as a play thing but as the lords instrument for the work in the remaining months before armagedon..." so what lovely message did the kids get from judge rutherford?

  children 1941page 281 "no children were taken onto noah's ark...it is proper to wait until after armagedon to have children...its only afew more years till armagedon..." the book concluded.

  "(john and his girlfriend talk) ...armagedon is surely near our hope is within afew years our marriage will be consumated and we will have sweet children...we will defer marriage and pioneer ...we will not see each other for a time.." thats why i dont have kids it all started with this fools book!.

  Back in the 1980's we had a sister in our hall who was getting married for the first time at the age of 60. She told me she was one of the children who went up to the stage and got her copy of the children book. She said she really believe what rutherford was saying and now here I am 60 years old still a virgin getting married. You could hear the sadness in her voice. Very sad, very sad for those back then.   Thanks to everbody who made a comment. I had to leave after I posted and just now was able to read all your great comments. The feeling I am getting from all of you is No we did not worry about this. Again I know the cult has but this fear in me and many others. I guess it is just part of the healing process. Most likely I will die old with no mind to remember. LOL Still Totally ADD

  I remember many years ago we would talk about those who leave the Org. something bad will happen to them. Because god was mad at them for turning away from the Wt. In our congregation there was this one person who left and started working this new job that required him to fly alot. One day the jet he was on crashed and all aboard died. All in the congregation was saying see this is what happens when you leave. I even heard one say Jehovah executed his judgement on that person. The question is when you first learned about TTATT did you fear something bad would happen to you? I have to admit this has crossed my mind once in awhile. Still Totally ADD

  why does the society no longer use strong language, such as found in the march 1, 1949 wt, to expose false religion?.

  but to date has anyone ever heard of this religionist in office issuing an order forbidding the use of the united states mails for carrying on a racket of collecting money from roman catholics upon the representation that it is for the benefit of their dead.

  Mental Disorders among JW's

  hi everyone, im begining to notice patterns of mental issues in the congregations and among the witnesses as a group.

  do you think this is a trend in the entire world or is it exagerated in this organization?.

  filpper I remember a CO telling the BOE to df mentally ill people is they did something wrong. According to him the Wt. did not feel mental illness to be a factor in doing something wrong. Still Totally ADD

  a young 14 year old girl was disfellowshipped in my former congregation last week

  a baptized girl from my former cong.

  was expelled out because she participated in more than one porn videos with classmates in the school and theses videos became public.

  she is 14 years old and grew up as witnesses.but anybody knows she had many boyfriends and she-, but that thing was unbelievable!

  I remember many years ago a person who was a expert on child growth said when children enter puberty the rush of hormones makes children in many ways mentally ill. In other words their reasoning power is distorted. In fact they now know a human brain does not stop growing until your mid 20's. With that in mind for me this is another reason children should not get baptized in this cult because of the way this cult treats disfellowshiped ones. At a time this young lady needs real help and support from everyone she will forever be hurt and harmed by this cult's action. I am not condoning what she did but kicking her out congregation is not the answer. I am sure the legal dept. from the Wt. had it's hand in it some how or another. Very, very, very SAD.
